Why this website?
Jesus Christ said that a prophet cannot gain glory in his own country (Jn 4:44) and this is also my own experience, even though I am not a prophet. As easy as it is, for a newly baptised person like myself, to talk about my faith with strangers, as difficult it is to do so with relatives, friends and acquaintances. In addition, I cannot explain in 5 sentences why I became Catholic. This site is my attempt to explain and share this. It is also my declaration of faith. The Rescue Project is a global movement that started in 2022. It stems from the conviction that the most urgent task of the Church is a compelling and attractive proclamation of the Gospel. The purpose is threefold: that people 1) be overwhelmed by the good news of what God has done for us, 2) be moved to surrender their lives to Jesus in faith, and 3) be mobilized for mission.
This is probably the most important website you could ever visit, especially if you want to gain a clear and deep understanding of what the Gospel and the Good News are all about.
